Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo expecting second child

Singer Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo are expecting baby number two.

The Maroon 5 frontman welcomed his first child, daughter Dusty Rose, back in September, 2016, and exactly a year on, the proud parents have announced the supermodel mum is pregnant again.

Behati took to her Instagram account on Wednesday (13Sep17) to share the happy news, captioning a photograph of herself in a bathing suit sporting a baby bump in front of a bathroom mirror, she wrote, "ROUND 2.....", referring to her second pregnancy.

Adam previously gushed about becoming a father, admitting parenthood helped him tap into parts of himself he didn't know he had.

"I've been a parent for three weeks; what do I know?" he told U.S. radio host Ryan Seacrest last year (16). "I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly. There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience."

The Moves Like Jagger hitmaker also revealed he came up with a name for little Dusty with the help of American comedienne Ellen DeGeneres.

"If anyone needs to name their child, Ellen's really good at it," The Voice mentor said during an appearance on her show, before confessing naming Dusty was one of the hardest tasks he's ever faced.

"The name game is tough game," the star sighed. "It's a very hard, arduous (game). It's really screwed up to actually have to put yourself through that."

Adam and Behati married in 2014.
